Sunday, February 5th, 2006 It was my first day as a student trainee….i am working at pldt… grabe, kala ko magiging maganda ang ma-aasign sa akin na trabaho.. a work that will really fit my course, as ECE… pero pero pero… hehehe… mukhang
Call Center ang napasukan ko.. we are assigned to call subscribers, and to remind them to settle their past accounts, and for them to pay it on or before a specific date… layo diba?!?!? Pero sabi nga ng prof ko, we might land a job that is not related to our chosen fields… so siguro isa na ito…
So we are instructed what to do, and how to do “call outs”,,, yun ang tawag sa trabaho namin… and bcoz I’m a beginner, I wrote down key points to hav a gud conversation with the subscribers…. This is my pang-gagago speech sa mga subscribers…
***Gud morning/afternoon, ma’am/sir… I am a representative from PLDT accounting department, may I speak with mr/ms______________… uhmmmm.. ma’am/sir.. I am just reminding you to kindly settle your pldt account, amounting to $$$$$$$$$…. and if you could pay this to our business offices on or before _______(date)… to avoid disconnection of our line….thank you po… and sir/ma’am if you have any questions or clarification about your subscription, just dial 171 and our costumer service staffs will be glad to entertain you…. Ohhh.. diba… astig ba ang composition ko?!??! Tagal ko atang inisip at ginawa yan… pero as usual… even if we prepare things to be perfect… meron tlgang sasablay… at alam nyo ba kung anu iyon?!?!?! Grrrrr… ang mismong mga subscriber’s…. ito na ang talagang adventure sa ojt ko na ito…..

¨ Alam nyo palagi nyo nlng kmi sinisingil.. eh wala ngang dumarating na bill sa amin.. ayusin nyo nga muna sistema nyo bago keo maningil…
¨ Pang limang araw mo ng tumawag para sabihin yan, sabing wala ngang bill kaming natatanggap tpos sisingilin nyo kmi…anu batayan naming na tama yang sinasabi mong account.. (first time ko plng po na tawagan keo…grrr)
¨ You are insisting me to pay that large amount… but I don’t remember making those calls, I already complained this but still these things is happening..(mga overseas calls… bill nya ksi nsa 7thousand)
¨ Ay sir, misis nya ito..kamamatay lng nya nung isang linggo.. hayaan nyo po.. aayusin ko yan..(sa boses na parang umiiyak, at naalalang patay na ang hinahanap kong tao.. sigh..)
¨ Dun mo sya singilin sa kabit nya, inde na yan nakatira dito.. pinalayas ko na!!( away mag-asawa…..)
¨ Ay sir.. tawag ka nlng sa number na ito.. andun po si maam ngayon…..
¨ Wag nyong sasabihin na puputulan nyo kmi ng linya, sinasabi nyo yan… eh malayo pa ang due date…(that is why we are reminding you on when you can still pay
ur bills… damn..)
¨ Ay iho, inde na ako naniniwala dyan.. ksi palagi kaming kada-dalawang buwan nag-babayad, pero inde prin kmi pinuputulan… sa susunud na buwan nlng ako magbabayad ha iho..(ynoh is speechless.. grrrr)
Diba diba diba…… meron pa dyan, na wala ang mga subs.. kya relay nlng ng message pinapagawa ko… matapos mong sbhin ang mga gusto mong sabihin… biglang isasagot seo ehh… sir tumawag nlng ulit keo mmya, inde ko po alam yan ehh… GRRRRRR.. (chimay/longkatuts/katulong/atchay/maid/homeboy)
Pero napatunayan ko pa ring may mga edukadong tao… may masarap makausap….. at syempre nagamit ko rin sa iba ang speech ko.. completely…at perfectly….
Pero matapos ang work na yun sinabi ko sa sarili ko….
GUSTO KO MAG FIELD WORK… MASKI BUHATIN KO PA ANG MGA DILAW NA HAGDANAN NG PLDT AT PAAKYATIN AKO NG PUNO O BUBONG… PUTULIN ANG MGA KABLE, MAG KABIT NG DSL… WAG LNG ULIT SA CALL-OUTS… INDE KO LUGAR ITO!! WAAAHHHH….
(at habang nag lo-log-out na kmi, sabi ng head trainee namin.. oh ito… ilalagay ko na dito ang mga call-outs nyo for tomorrow!!!pasok keo ng maaga… ingat!!!!)
at ang nasabi ko nlng ay… uuuukkkkkkiiiiiiii……. Grrrrrr….
